I'm renting out a spacious, newly renovated and fully furnished English basement apartment, located in the north Petworth / Brightwood neighborhood - a 15 minute walk from the Fort Totten Metro Station and the shops and restaurants of Kennedy St. The apartment is available for immediate occupancy. Lease term is subject to negotiation. My preference is for a flexible month-to-month renter or someone comfortable with an initial 6-mo lease (extendable by mutual agreement). I can consider up to a 12-month lease; however, in this case the rent would be $1,700/mo. The rent includes all utilities and wifi. Street parking is available, but I also have a parking pad and can negotiate a price for shared use. This is a great space for anyone looking for a neighborhood feel - but still accessible to all of DC.
