This bedroom, located in our high-ceiling basement, boasts a large window, walk-in closet, and ceiling fan. The basement is equipped with its own semi-private amenities (separate from the owner's facilities upstairs) including a fully-equipped chef's kitchen, bathroom with soaking tub, living room with flat screen smart TV, exercise room, and storage closets. The quiet, family-friendly neighborhood includes access to a community pool. We are a strictly allergen/chemical/smoke/fragrance-free (including personal care items) household so all tenants will enjoy a clean-air living space, complete with no-carpet floors and Zero VOC paint. We do not accept pets (although we could make an exception for pets in small enclosures, such as hamsters and fish).
The room is perfect for anyone looking for a safe, clean, and quiet place to live with easy access to the interstate, Old Town, and CSU (less than 12 minutes by car). The landlord and family (a married couple and 12-year old son) live in the upper level of the home. There is a shared entrance, so we will interact regularly (although we respect your privacy and value ours). You will share the basement with a quiet, middle-aged writer who is clean, considerate, and a model housemate. We speak French and Spanish and especially welcome international and graduate students or working professionals. We welcome all identities.
