It consists of a living room with a wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling picture window looking out onto spectacular and ever changing views of the San Francisco Bay. In addition to amazing sunrises and sunsets, you have Canada geese flying overhead each day, ocean liners passing under the Richmond Bridge, the Bay Bridge and a view of San Francisco in the distance, the Two-Brothers lighthouse, the Marin Islands bird sanctuary, kite surfers, kayakers, flocks of pelicans fishing, and countless ducks and gannets herding fish. At certain times of the year you will see tens of thousands of Faux’s swallows disappear down a disused brickyard chimney to nest for the night. The living room leads onto a large bedroom with a Sealy Posturepedic Cal-king bed and an en-suite bathroom containing a jacuzzi tub and shower. There is a dining table next to the kitchen, which is equipped with a brand new LG full-size fridge/bottom freezer, a combination Samsung washer/dryer, a sink, a microwave, an induction cooktop with two hotplates, and an Illy coffee maker. A full set of Zwilling Henckels flatware and Mikasa crockery is supplied, complete with pots, pans and cooking utensils. A popular shoreline walk is 20 ft away, which leads to the Loch Lomond Marina containing the outstanding Andy’s Supermarket and restaurant, and a public walkway around the marina. Half-a-mile away is the Peacock Gap golf course, which was voted “Best in Marin County”, and the club restaurant that is open to the public. The China Camp State park surrounds Peacock Gap on three sides, with the Bay shoreline on the fourth, and the park was created when the next expansion phase of Peacock Gap was cancelled and the remaining land was declared as China Camp State Park. It has become one of Marin County’s most loved and popular parks, containing extensive walking and cycling trails. A second regional park, the 55-acre McNears Park, was also created within a mile of the apartment, in a sheltered cove alongside San Pablo Bay. As part of an hotel chain in the 1880s, it was declared a regional park in 1970. It has a popular fishing pier that requires no license for pier fishing (fishing from the shore does require a fishing license). The beach offers easy carry-in access for kayaks and canoes. It's a designated trailhead on the San Francisco Bay Area Water Trail. Tennis or pickle-ball can be played on well-maintained courts, with no reservations needed. Twelve minutes away there is the Larkspur ferry into San Francisco, which was voted one of the best commutes in the world and is worth taking, just to see the scenery.
