ABOUT THE APARTMENT: This bright top-floor apartment is in a small, intimate* (see note below) four unit building, located in sunny North-Bernal Heights. It is located less than a block away from Precita Park and close to the Mission District and Valencia corridor. It is an early 1900's “railroad car” style apartment, very common in older buildings in the Mission (which means that in order to get from room to room, you must pass through each room). Therefore, it is most commonly used as a one bedroom, with a sunny, street-facing "bonus" room for living or office space (as you see fit!). There is NO DISHWASHER OR LAUNDRY ONSITE, as our older plumbing can't accommodate those appliances. There is also NO PARKING provided onsite. It is on a convenient transportation corridor which includes Folsom, Cesar Chavez, and Mission Streets, as well as quick access to MUNI and the 24th St. BART station, various bus lines, and South Bay shuttles. It is also just a short distance to the 101 and 280 freeways. *We are looking for QUIET and respectful tenants, as the building is old and intimate (ie it has shared and somewhat thin walls). Noise has been an issue in the recent past. We have done what we can to structurally and materially mitigate sound, but we expect exceptionally respectful behavior when it comes to noise onsite, and adhere strictly to the lease terms and local sound ordinances.
