Sun Valley, CA Apartments for Rent

Located in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, Sun Valley offers apartments for rent in a neighborhood with convenient access to surrounding areas. Originally known as Wixánga to the native Tongva people and later as Roscoe, Sun Valley got its current name in 1950. The neighborhood sits at the base of the Verdugo Mountains, providing easy connections to Burbank, North Hollywood, and downtown Los Angeles via Interstate 5 and other major thoroughfares.

Sun Valley features three recreation centers, including the Stonehurst Recreation Center, which offers sports facilities and a swimming pool. The neighborhood is home to the Theodore Payne Foundation for Wild Flowers and Native Plants, a botanical education center and native plant nursery. With average one-bedroom apartment rents around $1,587—lower than many surrounding areas—Sun Valley provides a central location with access to employment centers, shopping districts, and entertainment venues throughout the Los Angeles area.
