This apartment is a pleasant place to live. One tenant lived there for over 20 years. It will soon be available to a new tenant long term, approximately one-year lease at a time.
It is in the lower story of a house on a quiet street a block west of Moraga Way, about 3-1/2 miles south of Highway 24. Two scientists and their two teen sons live upstairs and are good neighbors. Sorry, we don't know the square footage--come see for yourself if it would work for you. You would have the use of half of the two-car garage and space in the driveway.
The apartment has a full kitchen with dishwasher and a bath with shower over tub. The bedroom has a walk-in closet. Facing the back yard, the unit has considerable light and privacy, with its own patio immediately outside, partly shaded, partly sunny. The patio is a great place for plants, and an adjacent automatic watering system can be extended to them.
There is a shared laundry room upstairs. The apartment has its own separate furnace and thermostat. Utility bills are shared with the family who lives upstairs.
The carpet is nearly new. Previous tenants' furniture appears in some photos.
There is lots of storage in the basement area next to the apartment.
