Originally built as a summer cabin in the 1920s, it has a new roof, interior paint, vinyl flooring in bathroom and kitchen, and sanded and finished wood floors in living and bedroom areas. It houses a full-size refrigerator and gas stove. Minisplit heat/air in main living area. The cottage shares a property with an owner-occupied cottage (while very close together, both are freestanding with no shared walls.) Located in the flats of downtown Fairfax, it is a 35-minute bike ride to the Larkspur Ferry - and downtown public transit stops, shops, laundromat, and eateries are around the corner. Acres of stunning open space with world-class bike and hiking trails are close by. Single level - two steps to the front door. Shown by appointment only. Additional amenities: Off-street parking and use of shared laundry. Animal Policy: Pets considered on a case-by-case basis. An additional monthly fee ($50, per animal) may be required for approved animals, unless otherwise noted. (Assistive animals are permitted and are approved with legal documentation.)
