This is the perfect spot for a UAB student or young professional. I lived here for 3 years while I attended UAB. I loved that it was a quick walk/bike over to class. It was also convenient that many of my friends lived nearby at the large student apartment complexes on either side. Students are always walking (or scootering) past the house, commuting from Crowne on 10th Apartments.
This large room has a deep closet, a window unit for heating and cooling, hardwood floors and high ceilings. You'll share a full kitchen, large bathroom with 2 others, living room, dining room, laundry room with the other people living here. Everyone is very quiet and stays to themselves. There are currently young 20-something guys in the 3 occupied rooms and there are 2 rooms available.
We've had young women live here before so they are comfortable with that, but that will depend on your comfort level! Everyone who lives here is required a $29 background and credit check so we can make sure that new and existing occupants are safe.
No parties, no smoking, no pets. Only 1 person can live in a room.

2 Rooms Available – Utilities Included - 5 min walk to UAB
Hi! My name is McColl. I have two rooms available in the home that I lived in while I attended UAB from 2017-2020. This place is really special to me and I loved living here for many reasons. I loved how quick the walk/bike was to UAB, I loved that my friends lived in nearby apartment complexes and I love this house. It's in an amazing area! You'll see tons of students walking/scootering past on a daily basis going to class.
Currently, there are three young guys (in their 20s) living in the house now. It’s a big 2400 square foot house with 5 bed rooms and three bathrooms.
We have two living spaces, a big kitchen, a washer and dryer, a dining room and it’s a 5-20 minute walk to anywhere on UABs campus.
Looking for a 6-12 month lease.
No pets, no parties and no smoking inside the house.
