Hidden snugly between the Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges and bordering Puget Sound, University Place’s views are spectacular. Renting an apartment in University Place puts you in the middle of everything northwest Washington State has to offer.

University Place is a suburban community of quiet neighborhoods and beautiful parks. But unlike the name suggests, there isn’t a university. In the late 1800s, some property was purchased for the eventual construction of the private liberal arts college, the University of Puget Sound. The school was eventually built — but in Tacoma. The property was eventually sold, but “the university place” moniker stuck, and the city of University Place incorporated in 1995.

University Place is a great location for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. From running to hiking to mountain climbing to boating, the rugged landscape offers it all. The Chambers Bay Golf Course, a popular destination for golfers, will host the US Open in 2015.

Close to shopping and surrounded by rugged natural beauty, University Place is a great apartment rental location.
