The Moran Prairie neighborhood of Spokane, Washington is located in the South Hill area, a flat area surrounded by rolling hills. The northern border is East 37th Street. The eastern border starts with South Glenrose Road and follows the hill south to Rural Route 3. The southern border is Rural Route 3 and in places East Jamison Road. The western border starts with South Grand Boulevard, changes to South 57th Street and continues on South Hatch Road.
There are many apartments to choose from in Moran Prairie, from modest homes to some very expensive properties. Residents have their choice of fast-food to fine dining. Many churches can be found in this area. The Spokane Transit system has numerous routes in the area, making it a convenient neighborhood for pedestrians and non-drivers.
On East 61st Avenue and South Freya Street, there is a water park that will delight the kids. There is a pool, a giant water slide and plenty of other fun ways to get wet.
East 46th Street and South Regal Street is also a great place for entertainment with a 28-screen theater and the large park on the adjacent corner with two play areas for the kids and three baseball diamonds.
