The quiet neighborhood of Windsor Hills in Lynchburg is located north of Greenview Drive, east of Timberlake Road, and to the west of Leesville Road. One of Windsor Hills’ biggest assets is Lakeland Lake, perfect for enjoying the outdoors. Area residents frequent the lake for fishing, picnicking and the miles of trails that provide great area hiking. Hiking in particular is popular in a city whose nicknames include “Hill City” and “City of Seven Hills.”
Windsor Hills residents have a wide range of shopping choices. Among some of the area malls are Timbrook Square Shopping Center, one of the oldest in the area; Waterlick Plaza Shopping Center; Seven Hills Shopping Center, which includes a dance and yoga studio along with retail stores and the River Ridge Shopping Mall, which also features a multiplex cinema.
