Gardens at Brookhollow Apartments for Rent
The Gardens at Brookhollow are located in the north central part of San Antonio, in zip code 78232. This area is known for small communities like independent suburban areas, but with easy access to all of the conveniences of this major city. Heimer Road serves as the northwest boundary of the neighborhood. The Gardens consists of two small streets: Brook Garden Lane and Babbling Brook.
The Brook Hollow Library is located just off of Heimer Road, within walking distance of all of the Gardens. It is also close to the Twin Oaks Airport and very convenient to the San Antonio International Airport. The homes in this tiny enclave are small in their own right, with a size range of just over 1,000 square feet to just under 1500 square feet. There is a mix of one and two story structures, and most are contemporary in style. These houses were built for the most part, in the late 1980s and early to mid 1990s.
The fabulous McAllister Park is just a short distance away. This 986-acre park lies between Jones Maltsberger and Wetmore Roads. The park was originally called the Northeast Preserve, but was renamed in June of 1974 in honor of San Antonio’s mayor, so it became Walter W. McAllister Park. There are three miles of trails, four pavilions, 156 picnic units, 8 baseball fields and a dog park, all within one massive park.
The area is also bustling with entertainment and recreation opportunities. In the area around the Gardens at Brookhollow, there is pool, bingo, bowling, miniature golf and the Embassy 14, a 14-screen movie theater. There are plenty of restaurants in the area as well. Along with the usual fast food places, there are several small cafes, a Smokey Bones barbecue and rib place, an Olive Garden, Denny’s and an IHOP.
