Edgebrook is a densely-populated community in south Houston, Texas. It is 11 miles southeast of downtown, between I-45 and Allen-Genoa Road. Edgebrook is a diverse community with a large Hispanic population. Freeway Manor Park is located in Edgebrook and contains ball fields, a playground, and a paved walking path. Wilson Memorial Park is located nearby and features a swimming pool, a lighted baseball diamond, and a soccer field.
Edgebrook’s convenient location places residents four miles northwest of Ellington Air Force Base, 10 miles northwest of Johnson Space Center, and seven miles east of San Jacinto College. Galveston Bay is 15 miles east. The popular Kemah Boardwalk, with its marinas, restaurants, shops, and amusement areas, is just 18 miles from Edgebrook.
