The residential community of North Boulevard Acres is located on the north side of Midland, Texas, roughly two miles from the heart of the downtown area. This community is roughly bounded by West Humble Avenue and West Scharbauer Drive on the south and North A Street on the east. It consists of four dozen single-family home sites along Gulf Avenue, North D Street, Sands Street, North C Street, and North B Street.

Part of Midland County, this community is in the 79705 zip code area. Neighboring communities include Del Norte Heights, Bayou Bend, and Arrowhead Acres, among others. Although it is a residential neighborhood, a few commercial offerings can be found nearby, especially along West Scharbauer Drive.

Within walking distance north of this community are two adjacent neighborhood parks, which constitute a popular destination for outdoor recreation. Tumbleweed Park and Windlands Park are sandwiched between West Wadley Avenue and Ventura Avenue and offer trails, playing fields, and plenty of open space for sports and other activities. Immediately north of these parks is the Midland Airpark.

Another option for outdoor recreation near North Boulevard Acres is Hogan Park, located to the northeast along Highway 250 and North Fairgrounds Road. Adjacent to the Ranchland Hills Country Club, this large park offers many amenities, including playing fields, 36 holes of golf, and an off-leash dog park.

Additional attractions within five miles of North Boulevard Acres include Midland Memorial Hospital on Andrews Highway and the First American Bank Ballpark on Champions Drive. The latter is the home of the city’s professional baseball team – the Midland Rockhounds.
