To the northwest of downtown Midland, Texas is the neighborhood of Grandridge. The homes in Grandridge are modern, distinctive looking, and medium-large in size. They are close together and connected by gated stone walls creating a narrow private area between the homes. The homes have tiny front yards and are almost on top of the streets. The garages and car ports are reached via access ways running between the rear areas of the homes.
Across League Drive to the north from Grandridge Park is the Wagner and Brown Complex – two football fields used for league play. Bordering to the northeast of this area is C. J. Kelly Park, which contains a small lake and five baseball/softball diamonds.
Back across League Drive from C. J. Kelly Park is the Putt Putt Fun Center, where guests can play miniature golf, practice their swings in batting cages, play laser tag, ride in go-carts, and play games in a video arcade.
Schools serving the Grandridge Park area include Trinity School of Midland, Lee High School, and Parker Elementary School.
Logan’s Roadhouse restaurant features mesquite-grilled steaks and chicken, long-neck beers and lots and lots of unshelled peanuts. Coloring books and games are available for kids young and old. The atmosphere is classic roadhouse.
