Greater Heights, located in northwest-central Houston, Texas, is often referred to simply as, “The Heights.” This neighborhood is located in zip code 77008 and is in Harris County. The community is bordered on the north by North Loop West Freeway and on the south by Interstate 10. The boundary on the west is West TC Jester Boulevard, and on the east the boundary is Interstate 45.
The Greater Heights neighborhood is one of the earliest planned communities in Texas. About 70% of the population is made up of young people. The Heights is also home to a World War II Museum and memorial, which commemorates and honors the 224 servicemen and the 2,549 veterans from the Houston Heights area who served their country during World War II.
