Centerpointe is a small neighborhood located fifteen minutes west of Galveston Bay. This residential community is quaint with high-quality living.
Centerpointe has everything a resident needs to enjoy day to day life. With a community pool, tennis courts, and playground, residents have plenty to do within their own neighborhood. When your own neighborhood won’t suffice, head up the road to Walter Hall Park for a picnic or a bike ride. This small park is quiet and is a perfect little getaway for your family.
Ten minutes to the northwest is Challenger 7 Memorial Park. In 1986, this park was commemorated after the seven astronauts lost their lives in the Challenger explosion. You may want to visit the monument and pay your respects to those brave men and women who lost their lives exploring space.
Camping and fishing are just a couple of the things there are to do here, as well as biking. Take a trip through the park and go up into the observatory. Sightseeing from the tower will take your breath away. Around the corner, barbecue grills are always clean and ready. Bring your poles and tackle; fishing is allowed and is plentiful, too.
Centerpointe is located near League City, but the main attraction is Galveston Bay. Galveston Bay is a tourist attraction for shopping, eating, swimming, and catching some rays in the summer. The Gulf of Mexico is right down the road from Centerpointe at Galveston Bay. You will find some of the best seafood in Texas right here in Galveston. Carnival Cruise Lines sets sail out of Galveston Bay. Another tourist attraction in Galveston, not far from Centerpointe, is Schliterbahn Water Park. This water park is one of the biggest in Texas and will provide more than a weekend of entertainment for not only the kids, but for the adults too.
