Just outside of the community to the northwest is Eastwood Park. This popular neighborhood park has baseball diamonds, hiking trails, a playground, and basketball courts. Also located on the site is the Gary Del Palacio Recreation Center. This busy facility features the Gary Del Palacio Racquetball club.

Spanning 7,100 acres, the El Paso International Airport sits along the northern border of Pico Norte. This busy airport was opened in 1929, and was originally called Standard Airport because Standard Airlines built the airport to provide transcontinental air mail service. When Standard Airlines became a division of American Airlines in the 1930s, the name of the airport was changed to El Paso International Airport.
