El Paso is a border town between the country of Mexico and the United States. Convenient shopping, fast food shops, and restaurants are in the vicinity of East Glen. High school sports can be watched by residents at the Excalibur Stadium at Hanks High School.
The El Paso Zoo invites the residents of East Glen to enjoy educational fun. The zoo has over two hundred different species of animals which are a part of astonishing exhibits. The International Museum of Art is a beautiful building which contains collections from places such as Asia and Africa. It has a Mexican Revolution collection and offers art classes. The Franklin Mountains State Park gives its guests the opportunity to explore and experience breathtaking hikes through desert and into the mountains.
The Casino Aztar has shows and live entertainment seven nights a week, along with Vegas style gambling, and many delicious food choices. East Glen residents have a diverse variety of activities and entertainment all around them.
