Windsor Ridge is a private, gated and guarded neighborhood within the Las Colinas master planned community. Homes in this area are built among rolling hills and scenic vistas and are part of a golf course community that lies adjacent to the Four Seasons Resort and Club, the only such place in Texas to receive the coveted AAA five star rating.
Homes in the area have been built recently — within the past 20 years in a variety of different styles, including stone and brick manor homes, Mediterranean style homes, more traditional homes and other custom styled homes in general. These spacious homes exceed 4,000 square feet and are on beautifully landscaped lots, with large pools, spas, waterfalls and other high-end features both in and outside of the house. Many homes are situated on hills that overlook various fairways of the golf course or even the lake, all of which are part of the prestigious Four Seasons Resort and Club.
Since some of these homes overlook the golf course used for the HP Byron Nelson Golf Championship, residents of Windsor Ridge have the best seats available. Besides golf, there are plenty of other activities in the area. The Las Colinas Equestrian Center and the Las Colinas Polo Club consist of 62 riverside acres of equestrian facilities that also include a place for professional polo matches.
Within Irving proper and the Las Colinas community, there are more than 150 restaurants, giving Irving the distinction of having more restaurants per capita than any other place in the United States.
Sports enthusiasts can enjoy Dallas Cowboys football games at the Cowboys Stadium in nearby Arlington, watch horse racing at Lone Star Park, watch NASCAR races at the Texas Motor Speedway, or watch the Dallas Mavericks play basketball or the Texas Rangers playing baseball.
