This part of Carrollton is arguably the most prestigious. Nature lovers can head to the Elm Fork Nature Preserve. The City of Carrollton received 40 acres of land for the preserve in 1986. It is an undisturbed and self contained eco-system with trails for walking and hiking. It is open every day of the year from dusk to dawn.
