This neighborhood, constructed in the early 1960s, can be found at the intersection of Leland Boulevard and North Macarthur Boulevard. This moderately walkable neighborhood of 125 homes is set within quiet, giant oak-lined lanes.
Northgate Heights is zoned to the Irving Independent School District with resident children attending Farine Elementary, Travis Middle School, and Macarthur High School. Macarthur High School is very close and is considered by some to be part of the Northgate Heights community.
Locals enjoy a nearby Starbucks, Spirit Grille, Via Real Mexican Restaurant, Fratelli Pizza, Samosa Hut and Grill, Lunch Plus. The local store is Tom Thumb Food & Pharmacy. Just a few miles to the west of Northgate Heights is Victoria park. A few miles to the east is The University of Dallas.
Las Colinas is known for its corporate offices, luxury hotels, landmark office towers, luxury town homes, single family homes, golf and country clubs, gated communities, and urban lofts. In fact, Las Colinas features three private country clubs and four championship golf courses.
The Four Seasons Resort and Country Club is the only AAA Five Diamond resort in Texas, and is only one block away from Northgate Heights. The TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas Resort has hosted the HP Byron Nelson Championship on the PGA Tour since 1986, when the course first opened.
