Nichols Way is a mostly residential neighborhood in Irving, Texas, a western suburb of Dallas. The neighborhood is located within zip code 75062, and is bordered to the south by Airport Freeway Route 183, to the north by West Rochelle Drive and East Northgate Drive, to the east by train tracks, and to the west by North O’Connor Boulevard. Wingren Village Apartments is also located within the neighborhood.

This is an attractive residential area. Homes vary greatly in size depending on their age. Smaller homes in the area were built in the 1950s, while the larger homes were constructed more recently. Regardless of age, the majority of Nichols Way homes are one story, Ranch style homes. Some homes have brick walls and shutters, while others are wood frame.

With large, well maintained grass lawns, tall mature trees, and sidewalks, this neighborhood is very walkable. Some of the streets are cul de sacs, with most traffic coming from residents, but the streets around the perimeter of the neighborhood are quite busy.

Nichols Park is located in the neighborhood. It offers a playground, benches, a half-sized basketball court, tennis courts, grills, and picnic tables. The park is naturally a very popular neighborhood gathering place.

A grocery store and restaurants lie on Airport Freeway and North O’Connor.

The Redeemer Montessori School on West Rochelle Drive provides private education from pre-primary through 3rd grade. The school offers a beautiful playground on its property as well.
