Las Brisas Hills is a condominium association in North Irving. It consists of 301 homes that were built in the early 1980s in the Spanish/Mediterranean style with Spanish tile roofs. The exteriors of the buildings are a combination of “weeping brick,” stucco and wood.
The Las Brisas Hills name refers to the rolling hills and soft breezes. The highest point of the community where the clubhouse and pool are overlooks Las Colinas and parts of the Metroplex.
There are nine floor plans for homes, each of which may include a combination of a carport and garage or simple covered parking. In addition, the nine floor plans include single and two-story homes and homes with one to three bedrooms. Homes also have a small outdoor space that can be used for grilling, eating or other activities. The entry to the homes is very attractive and is enhanced by landscaping and relaxing seating areas.
Las Brisas Hills is just across the street from Victoria Park with great playground equipment for kids, including a castle kingdom, a concrete 1/2 mile trail, picnic areas, a pond, a fishing dock and two volleyball courts as well as two pavilions. Residents can also make use of the 22 miles of hiking and biking trails that make up Campión Trails.
There is great shopping at the Irving Mall, the upscale Galleria in Dallas and the nearby Grapevine Mills Outlet Mall. Irving boasts the greatest concentration of restaurants per capita of any place in the United States with more than 150 local restaurants.
One of the most popular attractions in Irving is The Mustangs of Las Colinas Sculpture and Museum. The museum tells the story of the creation of this famous bronze statue of a herd of wild Texas mustangs running across Williams Square.
