The Lakeside Landing neighborhood is located in the Dallas suburb of Irving, Texas. The neighborhood is off West Walnut Hill Lane near the intersection of Story Road and this area is commonly referred to as Las Colinas. Las Colinas is an upscale residential area between Dallas and Fort Worth, not far from DFW Airport. This centralized location has made Las Colinas a prime spot for businesses to set up shop.
Las Colinas is one of the first planned communities in the United States. Las Colinas is known for corporate offices, luxury hotels, landmark office towers, luxury town homes, single family homes, golf and country clubs, gated communities, as well as urban lofts. In fact, Las Colinas features three private country clubs and four championship golf courses surrounded by gated communities. The Four Seasons Resort and Country Club is the only AAA Five-Diamond resort in Texas. The TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas Resort has hosted the HP Byron Nelson Championship on the PGA Tour since 1986 when the course opened.
There are many popular employers located on this road including Zale Incorporated, the parent company of Zales Jeweler’s, Gordon’s Jewelers, and Piercing Pagoda. Other major corporations include Exxon Mobil Corporation, Verizon, and Kimberley-Clark, but there are more than 2,000 companies that call Las Colinas home.
Lakeside Landing is within walking distance of Victoria Park. Lakeside Landing townhouses are covered under the Lakeside Landing Homeowners Association.
The Lakeside Landing townhouses were built in the early to mid-1980s. Each home has two carports and the many of the homes have views of a canal and greenway. Lakeside Landing Town Homes has its own community pool. There are 118 units in the neighborhood that are made up by two phases. The Lakeside Landing Home Owner’s Association was created in 2004.
The homes are zoned in the Irving Independent School District and the assigned schools are Lee Elementary, Travis Middle School, and Macarthur High School.
