Cottonwood Valley neighborhood is located in the Las Colinas area of Irving, a Dallas suburb. While some neighborhoods evolve, when Cottonwood Valley was created, great thought went into the planning of this gated community. There are two secure entrances into the community, one on MacArthur Boulevard and one on Story Road.
This neighborhood is country club living at its finest. Residents have the opportunity to enjoy membership in two championship golf courses as well as all the amenities that go along with it. Many of the residents choose to join the Four Seasons Resort and Club to take advantage of the health club, the spa, the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, the tennis and racquetball courts, and the track. There are also dining opportunities available at the resort.
Cottonwood Valley offers the opportunity to have a unique home that will not be like any other house in the neighborhood. All homes are custom built to suit the owner and range from $300,000 into the millions of dollars. Some homes border on the greens of the Cottonwood Valley Golf Club. The whole area is very lush with grass, trees, and shrubs. Some of the streets are cul-de-sacs, while others meander through the neighborhood.
Cottonwood Park is a great place for the children in the neighborhood and their guests to play. It features a playground with a play scape. There are places to climb, slide, and even bounce. There are also basketball courts and plenty of green space for other outdoor activities. Picnic tables are available for residents and guests. However, all guests must be accompanied by a neighborhood resident.
There is no public transportation within Cottonwood Valley, and the only shopping is the golf pro shop.
