Cobblestone is a conveniently located neighborhood in Plano, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. Here, you’ll find the Cobblestone Condominiums, as well as some other residential offerings. Significant roadways in the area include Independent Parkway, which borders on the east, and West Park Boulevard, which borders on the south.
If you like to stay active, then Cobblestone is the place for you. Just on the other side of Independence Parkway, to the east, are a softball field, baseball field, football field, soccer field, tennis courts, and the Plano Aquatic Center. For just a few dollars, Cobblestone area residents can access the aquatic center, which offers swimming, diving, lap pools, classes, and water aerobics. This place truly offers fun for all ages, although visitors don’t rave about the locker rooms or restrooms at this somewhat older facility. This is no indoor waterpark, so don’t expect slides or playscapes, but for those looking for an escape from the Texas heat, the Plano Aquatic Center does the trick.
For more recreation options, Cobblestone area residents head north to Cheyenne Park or Caddo Park or south to Evans Park. When you crave a more relaxing afternoon, the Cinemark Movies 10 theater is located just a few minutes southwest, at 1818 Coit Road.
Cobblestone area residents also have the benefit of living in close proximity to the Medical Center of Plano, Plano Specialty Hospital, and Plano Outpatient Clinic, all located off Coit Road/FM 544.
These are just a few of the amenities that you’ll enjoy when you live in Cobblestone. However, when the big city calls your name, Dallas is just over 30 minutes to the south, just off the nearby U.S. Highway 75. The highway, which is situated roughly two miles to the east of Cobblestone, offers a nearly direct route into downtown Dallas, where you’ll find almost limitless shopping, entertainment, and dining options.
