Briarwood is a subdivision located in the city of Plano, about twenty miles northeast of downtown Dallas. The area is connected to the rest of the Metroplex by the US 75-Central Expressway, President George Bush Turnpike and major roads like Park Boulevard, Parker Road, Jupiter Road and Shiloh Road.
This sought-after neighborhood is surrounded by great parks offering amenities such as hike and bike trails, playgrounds, practice fields and restrooms. Willow Creek Park (2101 Jupiter Road), Bob Woodruff Park (2601 San Gabriel Drive), Breckinridge Park (3555 Brand Road) and Spring Creek Nature Area (Renner Rd. at US 75 Central Expressway) are all within an easy drive. Briarwood is six minutes away from the closest Dallas Area Rapid Transport station, Parker Road Station, located at the intersection of Park Boulevard and Archerwood Street, making it convenient for commuters. Parker Road Station is the northern terminus of the Red Line and is conveniently close to Bank of America, Collin County Sub-Courthouse, Collin County Community College (Spring Creek Campus) and Texas Instruments Spring Creek Campus. Another DART station that is close by is Downtown Plano Station, at the intersection of 15th Street and Avenue J.
