Also along Airport Freeway, and convenient for Bear Creek area residents, is the Baylor Medical Center at Irving. Further east is the much larger Southwestern Medical Center.

Frequent fliers will be happy to be within 10 miles of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, which is located to the north. Also within 10 miles of Bear Creek, along East Northgate Drive, is the University of Dallas.
