Its boundaries are Boonville Road / Farm to Market Road 158, Copperfield Drive, Tiffany Park Drive, Meadowbrook Street, Kenwood Drive and Woodcrest Drive.
State Highway 6 (Earl Rudder Freeway), Farm to Market Road 1179 and Farm to Market Road 158 link Brookhaven with the neighbouring cities of Bryan, Boonville and College Station. Public transportation is provided by the Bryan Transport District buses, shuttles and park & rides.
Brookhaven belongs to the Bryan Independent School District. Higher education is provided by the nationally acclaimed Texas A&M University located in nearby College Station and by Blinn College, with one campus located in Bryan.
