Brentwood is a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood consisting of single-family homes located in College Station. State Highway 6-Earl Rudder Freeway, South Texas Avenue, Harvey Mitchell Parkway, and Southwest Parkway connect the Brentwood community with College Station and Bryan. Public transportation is provided by The District; Texas A&M Transportation Services, for students, faculty, and staff of the university; and Groundshuttle, which operates daily shuttles to and from Houston airports.
Brentwood belongs to the College Station Independent School District. The nearest schools serving Brentwood families are South Knoll Elementary, Oakwood Intermediate, and A&M Consolidated Middle School. Texas A&M University, the seventh-largest university in the United States, is located a few minutes away from the Brentwood neighborhood. It is the home of the George Bush Presidential Library and the Aggies football team.
