Roy G. Guerrero Park alone spans 363 acres and offers a long list of amenities. One of the newest and most popular additions to this park is the 2.3-mile crushed gravel hiking/biking trail, part of the Town Lake trail system. Other amenities include three volleyball courts, four baseball fields, 12 softball fields, playground, and a picnic shelter with plenty of picnic tables for your next family gathering.

For local shopping, Holly residents are lucky enough to have a retail center within neighborhood bounds. The Govalle Shopping Center, situated in the community’s northeast corner, offers an H-E-B grocery store, Family Dollar, and AutoZone, among other merchants. Holly is also within a few miles of Huston Tillotson College and the much larger University of Texas – Austin campus. Near the UT campus is also where you’ll find the Texas State Capitol.
