Dove Creek is a neighborhood in Round Rock, Texas, located off of East Logan Street. There are several streets in the subdivision, including Dove Creek Drive, Deerfoot Drive, Deerfoot Circle, White Wing Way, Dove Haven Drive, Quail Creek Drive, Quail Creek Circle and Ridge Crest Drive. The neighborhood is located just to the south of Lake Creek Park. I-35 is convenient to the neighborhood to the west.
The streets are wide in the Dove Creek neighborhood. There are sidewalks and the homes sit on large lots dotted with trees. Most homes were built in the 1970s and 1980s. Dove Creek is located southeast of downtown Round Rock.
Lake Creek Park is a nearby 22 acre park in Round Rock, featuring plenty of trees and a picnic area. There is also a dog park where dogs are allowed off their leashes. There is a pool in the park and there are basketball and volleyball courts. For hikers there is access to the Greater Trail Creek Trail System.
The Buck Egger Park is located a little west of the Dove Creek neighborhood. It is a three-acre park that offers lots of open space and a playscape for the children. South Mayer Street has a wide variety of commercial enterprises. The businesses include a locally-run grocery store. On the west side of the I-35, residents can dine on chain coffee and burgers at a Starbucks and a Wendy’s. The closest chain grocery store is the HEB on East Palm Valley Boulevard.
