Situated on the eastern edge of Lake Georgetown, Briarwood is a quiet neighborhood north of Austin in Williamson County. It is bordered by Williams Drive to the west, Serenada Drive to the north, Buffalo Springs Trail to the east, and Wagon Wheel Trail to the south. The community is three miles from downtown Georgetown and 30 minutes from Austin.
Local children live just a few blocks from Frost Elementary School and Benold Middle School. Georgetown High School is a short drive across Interstate 35. For college students, it’s less than five miles to the area’s two campuses, Southwestern University and Austin Community College.
