River Trace Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
River Trace is a neighborhood on the far northeast side of Nashville, Tennessee, roughly 12 miles from the heart of the downtown area. Located just northeast of State Highway 155, this community is on the south side of the Cumberland River loop. The river runs past the neighborhood on the west, north, and east, providing scenic views and opportunities for outdoor recreation.
River Trace is in the 37214 zip code area, within Davidson County. It is bounded by the river on the north and Lock 2 Road on the west. Its southern boundary extends past Paddle Wheel Drive, but falls short of Pennington Bend Road. It includes Cain Harbor Drive, Riverbend Drive, Steamboat Drive, and several other small courts and drives. On the north, this community is mostly open green space, including the riverfront area. On the south, it is mostly residential, made up of dozens of single-family homes. Compared to much of Nashville, the lots here are rather sparsely landscaped, but there are some shade trees and shrubs throughout.
Besides the nearby river, one of the most significant attractions near River Trace is the Grand Ole Opry, situated few miles south along the banks of the river. One of the most famous music venues in the world, the Grand Ole Opry brings in big-name performers in country music, including Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, and Trace Atkins, just a name a few. It is adjacent to Opry Mills Mall, which not only constitutes a convenient local shopping option, but is also one of the most popular retail centers in the nation.
For more entertainment, cultural attractions, and higher education options, downtown Nashville is less than 20 minutes away by car. Among the major attractions here are the state capitol building, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and Vanderbilt University.
