Brick Church Pike creates the eastern boundary for the Quailtrail neighborhood. Indian Summer Drive forms a circular road in the northern boundary. The southern boundary for the community is found at the end of Autumn Ridge Drive. Summertime Drive ends in a cul-de-sac on the western boundary. Two ponds are located in the southwestern portion of the area. Residences are surrounded by mature trees, and thick rows of these trees separate the backs of homes from other streets, creating small park-like sections.
Brick Church Pike intersects with West Old Hickory Boulevard/Highway 45, just to the south of the Quailtrail neighborhood. Highway 45 crosses Interstate 24 one mile to the west, which provides a convenient commuting route for residents. Residents can also use Interstate 65, which is less than three miles to the east. Both of the interstate routes merge four miles south of the neighborhood and run directly into the city of Nashville.
Residents do not need to travel into the city for local shopping and dining. The Bellshire Shopping Center is south of the intersection of Highway 45 and Highway 11, two miles from Quailtrail. The Davidson Academy is just to the east of Brick Church Pike and includes two ball fields and a stadium with a running track. Hunters Lane High School is also just minutes away for area students.
Cedar Hill Park, offering residents a large recreational area, is two miles to the east on Route 45. The western banks of Old Hickory Lake are only a few minutes farther to the east for fishing, boating, and acres of additional relaxation.
