The neighborhood of Neely’s Chase is located northeast of Nashville in the city of Madison. It is named, in part, for its proximity to a winding area in the Cumberland River known as Neely’s Bend. The Neely’s Chase neighborhood is east of Gallatin Pike and south of Neely’s Bend Road. The community of Neely’s Chase includes the streets of Idlewild Drive, Neely’s Chase Drive, Rothwood Avenue and Rothwood Court.
A stroll through the Neely’s Chase neighborhood shows mostly new construction one- and two-story homes shaded by weeping willows, oaks and other mature trees. This quiet Madison neighborhood offers residents a safe environment to walk and play.
Residents of Neely’s Chase have easy access to the major thoroughfares of Nashville, including Briley Parkway and Interstate 65 via Gallatin Pike. These routes help connect the Madison area to all parts of greater Nashville and middle Tennessee for commuting, business, entertainment and dining.
Closer to home, residents of Neely’s Chase live in close proximity to the many businesses on Gallatin Pike. These include a variety of car dealerships, local and chain restaurants, and grocery stores such as the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market at the corner of Gallatin Pike and West Old Hickory Boulevard. Residents may also choose to shop in the Rivergate Mall shopping district just a few miles north on Gallatin Pike.
A variety of churches are conveniently located near the Neely’s Chase neighborhood; these include Madison First Baptist Church, Madison Church of the Nazarene, First Assembly of God, City Road Chapel United Methodist Church, Madison Church of Christ and Cornerstone Church.
Children in the Neely’s Chase neighborhood attend schools in the Metropolitan Nashville Public School District of Davidson County.
