One of the great things about Kingsway Green is location. Living this close to a major metropolitan area like Nashville usually means traffic, congestion, and noise. Kingsway Green is a different story.
North east of Nashville, Kingsway Green is bounded by Old Hickory Drive to the north, Sandhurst Drive to the east, Bubbling Well Drive to the south and Queen Ann Drive to the east.
A modest neighborhood, Kingsway Green has lots of mature trees growing along the streets. In the summer, everything is green with lots of yards and mature bushes. The streets don’t go anywhere but home, so there is very little traffic.
Old Hickory Lake is a stones throw from Kingsway Green. The reservoir has more than 41 boat access sites, several campgrounds, and three marinas spread out over the 97 mile of shoreline. Old Hickory Lake Park is along the shore and has picnic areas and hiking trails through the wooded parkland.
Golfers can practically walk to several courses from Kingsway Green. Eller’s Golf Course is a public 18 hole course along Cumberland River. The Old Hickory Country Club is a full service member’s only club offering tennis, swimming, golf, and fine dining.
It’s just a short drive down Interstate 65 to downtown Nashville. The roots of country music are spread throughout the area. A visit to the Grand Ole Opry is a once in a lifetime treat for most country music fans as they get to see legends and newcomers perform for the oldest live radio show in the country. Many fans stop at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge and see the place where lots of stars got there start. A visit to Music City isn’t complete without a stop at Earnest Tubbs Music Store, a country and western icon for more than 50 years.
