Jacksonian Drive is one of the longest streets in the city of Hermitage, Tennessee. This important road starts near Hermitage Hills Shopping Center off of Lebanon Pike/Highway 70 and continues through several communities until it reaches the shores of the Cumberland River.
The residential community of Jacksonian Drive is essentially the street itself. Many of the facilities and attractions are shared by its neighboring community of Plantation Drive. In fact, the neighborhood intersects with various areas of Plantation Drive, including the street of Plantation Drive to the west and Bonna Creek Drive, Bonna Meade Drive, Bonna Ridge Drive, and Bonna Lynn Drive to the east.
The most important streets near the community are Highways 45 and 70, which intersect nearby to form an X-shaped grid. Within this region are several retail businesses, such as Hermitage Hills Shopping Center, Goodwill, Wholesale Jewelers, several eateries, auto repair shops, and dental offices.
Several churches are located in this region. Hermitage Church of Christ, Hermitage Hills Baptist Church, and Hermitage United Methodist Church are located off of Highway 70 near the community.
Near the corner of Highway 70 and Jacksonian Drive are several key facilities. Two schools, School Hermitage Hills Baptist Wee and Kinderland Learning Academy, are found here. The post office is on this corner as well. Hermitage Elementary school is the closest school to Jacksonian Drive. It is to the south off of Plantation Drive, near Bonna Meade Drive. Further west and near the shores of the Cumberland River is Metro Water Services, which serves the city of Hermitage.
In terms of attractions, Jacksonian Drive is close to Ravenwood Country Club. The club is a semi-private facility with an 18-hole golf course, eight tennis courts, an Olympic-size swimming pool, bar and grill, and a clubhouse.
