The city of Madison is northeast of Nashville, Tennessee and below the junction of Interstate 65 and Route 386. The Heritage Square neighborhood is northwest of the center of Madison and shares the 37115 zip code with other neighborhoods of Madison. Heritage Square is in Davidson County and the Nashville-Davidson School District.
Heritage Square is bordered by Route 45 – West Old Hickory Boulevard on the south. The northern border is created by Campbell Road. Heritage Drive runs inside the western edge of the neighborhood with Heritage Trace Drive and Heritage Glen Drive providing portions of the eastern boundary.
The smaller streets in Heritage Square circle back to the main roads or end in cul-de-sacs forming their own private residential areas. The backs of the homes on each street are separated from homes on the next street by rows of mature trees for even more privacy. All of the single-family residences have wide driveways for off-street parking. Multi-family units have small lots for parking near each group.
Residents in Heritage Square will find both Route 45 and Route 6 very convenient for accessing local shopping and recreation. The Old Town Village shopping area is northwest of the junction of Routes 45 and 6. The Primrose Shopping Center is at the southeast. The Madison Square Library and Madison Square Shopping Center are south on Route 6. Madison Park is east on Route 45, past the junction with Route 6. Cedar Hill Park can be found to the west, also on Route 45.
Heritage Square is also just east of Interstate 65 which will take residents to the city of Nashville to the south. Old Hickory Lake is east of the community and provides acres of water activities, small parks, the Ellers Golf Course, and the Old Hickory Golf Club.
