Hartman Park is a newer park in the neighborhood that has a baseball diamond, basketball courts, and tennis courts. And Bordeaux Park sits a short distance to the west. It is a popular spot with young kids, and has a playground, hiking trail, and basketball courts. The Parkwood Park and Recreation Center lies a short distance outside of the community to the northeast. This community hot spot offers residents a gymnasium, fitness center, an indoor and outdoor walking path, and a variety of meeting rooms used for community events.

Private pilots and travelers would be interested to know that the John C. Tune Airport lies to the southwest of the neighborhood. This general aviation airport hosts regional corporate and private aircraft.
