Clark Place is a neighborhood in the Nashville metropolitan area, which is comprised primarily of established ranch-style, two-story homes that sit on well-maintained lawns. Mature trees provide a green backdrop in the spring and summer months, as well as a windbreak on hot summer days when thunderstorms occur. The trees also are habitats for area birds such as sparrows, cardinals, warblers, and flycatchers, as well as squirrels and raccoons.
Children in the neighborhood attend Goodlettsville Elementary, Goodlettsville High School, and Hunters Lane Comp High School. Tennessee State University can be reached via Interstate 65 and Interstate 40 by traveling southwest of the community.
The neighborhood is situated south and east of Dickerson Pike and south and west of Rivergate Parkway. Old Hickory Boulevard runs east and west on the far southern border of the community. The neighborhood is also conveniently adjacent to Intersate 65, which runs south and east of the area.
Given its location, residents have easy access to shopping and recreational sites. Goodlettsville Plaza Shopping Center lies just to the northwest and can be easily reached by foot, bike, or car. Lying to the southeast of the neighborhood are several shopping centers including the McHenry Shopping Center, Rivergate Plaza Shopping Center, The Shoppes at Rivergate, and Marketplace at Rivergate.
For outdoor recreation, residents can visit Old Hickory Lake, which is located east of the community. The natural site offers a number of activities, including boating, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking.
