The residential neighborhood of Cedar Pointe featuring homes, condominiums, and apartments is bordered by Cane Ridge Road to the north and east, and Cedar Point Parkway to the south. Residents have convenient access from the neighborhood to Interstate 24 to the east and Bell Road to the south.
Located 12.4 miles from Nashville, Cedar Pointe is a short drive to area attractions, historic sites, and recreational activities. Residents have only a 15-minute drive to Nashville International Airport. Two additional airports, John C. Tune Airport and Cornelia Fort Airpark are less than 30 minutes away.

Two places near Cedar Pointe are Carnton Plantation and Ellington Agricultural Center. At Carnton Plantation, visitors can tour the stately home of the McGavocks that served as the largest field hospital during the Civil War after the Battle of Franklin, one of the most costly battles of the war resulting in the loss of 10,000 soldiers. Stroll through the beautifully decorated rooms, visit the Confederate cemetery where over 1400 hundred Southern soldiers are buried and walk the historic battlefield.
The 207-acre Ellington Agricultural Center is the Tennessee Department of Agriculture headquarters. The center hosts the annual Rural Life Festival, has an official arboretum, and maintains the Iris Garden open to the public..
A short drive from Cedar Pointe is The Hermitage, home of President Jackson. The mansion, formal gardens, slave quarters and log cabin occupied by the Jackson’s in 1804 before the plantation was built, are open for tours.
