Residents of Bransford Avenue are within walking distance to a great flea market held once a month at the State Fair Grounds. The flea market attracts tens of thousands of bargain hunters and receives national attention. More than 1,000 vendors come here, selling every imaginable item along with art and antiques.

Students, or those who appreciate the many cultural and entertainment aspects of a large university, will appreciate the neighborhood’s proximity to Vanderbilt University, about two miles west.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty of opportunities for fishing, boating, camping and more at the massive J. Percy Priest Reservoir and State Park, a short drive east.
