Amber Hills is a residential neighborhood on the southwestern side of Nashville, Tennessee, less than 25 minutes from the downtown area and only a short drive from the conveniences of nearby Bellevue. This community is two miles south of Interstate 40 and convenient to many major highways. It is immediately north of Poplar Creek Drive and near the communities of Brook Glen, Harpeth Valley Park, and Colonies. This Davidson County subdivision is part of the 37221 zip code. 

The Amber Hills neighborhood consists of a single main street, Amber Hills Lane, from which three smaller courts extend to create peaceful cul-de-sacs. The single entry and exit point on the south limits any through traffic, which makes this a fairly quiet neighborhood. It is primarily residential, and it is made up of about 35 spacious, single-family homes on good-sized lots. Most of the lots have some mature shade trees, and stands of trees border the northern and western boundaries of the community, providing a sense of seclusion.

Residents of Amber Hills are just minutes from many of the shopping, dining, and entertainment options in nearby Bellevue. A mid-sized retail area is within a mile to the south, and it includes two supermarkets, several specialty shops, and a number of popular pubs and eateries. A YMCA is also in this area. The Bellevue Center Mall is just a few miles from the community.

When it comes to outdoor recreation, Amber Hills residents have plenty of options. Bellevue Park is about two miles to the north. Edwin and Percy Warner Parks are situated adjacent to one another a few miles to the east. Together, these parks offer nearly any amenity one could imagine, including nature trails, playgrounds, an equestrian center, and challenging golf courses.
