Midtown is a neighborhood in Memphis Tennessee. The borders of the neighborhood are the I-240 to the West, East Parkway to the east, Jackson Avenue on the north, and Lamar Avenue on the south. Overton Park is one of the gems of Midtown, Memphis. This 342-acre park was designed by George Kessler and includes more than 150 acres of woods. It also has a nine-hole golf course, playgrounds, and picnic areas. That is just the tip of the iceberg. This historic park is also home to the Brooks Art Museum, Memphis College of Art, the Memphis Zoo, and the Levitt Shell.
