Colonial Park Apartments for Rent
“Welcome to Colonial Park Neighborhood” greets visitors as they enter Lorick Avenue. Narrow roads carve their way through this working-class, almost untamed area. Several major thoroughfares cut right through the neighborhood, like Highways 277 and 321. Inside the parameters of this community are the Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital and the Lutheran Theological Seminary. Eau Claire Park is adjacent to the west side of this district. Despite the incredible amount of activity that thrives in this area, many parts of the Colonial Park district are wooded and rural in appearance. A river’s creek branch bubbles and creeps through the vicinity.
City and County Parks are represented well in the immediate vicinity of Colonial Park. Lorick, Hyatt, Keenan House, and Earlewood Park are just a brisk pace around one corner or another. Finlay Park and Elmwood Park Historic District are within two miles. Elmwood was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
Eating on the go can provide opportunities to grab a sandwich at Subway, Church’s Chicken, or Carolina Deli. Sunset and Midland Shopping Centers are local. Consumers can find almost any service desired nearby. CVS Pharmacy, Family Dollar Store, Auto Zone, and the Dollar General can be found close to home.
Education, including preschools, is well addressed here. The William Lee Bonner School of Bible and Theology, Columbia College, and the University of South Carolina Medicine School are within one mile. Public schools include Watkins-Nance Elementary, W.A. Perry Middle, and Eau Claire High. St. John Baptist Church Preschool is in the neighborhood.
Travelers and commuters can find ingenious thoroughfares and highways laced throughout this district.
