A new city in Georgia, Johns Creek is located in Fulton County, 30 minutes north of Atlanta. Although Johns Creek can be traced back to the early 19th century when it began as a trading post, it wasn’t incorporated until 2006.

The Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center has 46 acres of ravine forest and over a mile of trails. The Heritage Center features old homestead buildings and related exhibit pieces dating from the late 1800s. There are several golf courses in or near Johns Creek, as well, and music lovers will appreciate the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra, established in 2006.
