Rosemont Summit is a neighborhood located in West Linn, Oregon. It is part of Clackamas County. The community is bordered on the south by Rosemont Road and Willamette Drive to the northeast. Santa Anita Drive and Palomino Park form the western boundary. This primarily residential area is dense with trees and populated with single-family residences and apartment units.
This family-friendly community includes a number of parks. Ibach Nature Park offers wildlife viewing, open spaces, and hiking trails. The park also provides access to the western edge of the Sahallie Illahee Park. The Sahallie Illahee Park is over four acres in size and offers two large playgrounds and open turf area. The park also features two basketball courts, picnic areas, wildlife viewing, paths, and trails.
The nearby Oppenlander Field offers large softball and baseball fields, as well as a multi-purpose field for games like soccer and lacrosse. The Mary S. Young State Recreation Area is just northeast of Rosemont Summit. The state park winds along the Willamette River with miles of scenic trails and ample opportunities for wildlife viewing, birdwatching, and fishing. The open turf areas are ideal for kids to play and dogs to run off-leash.
Rosemont Summit is conveniently located near shopping, dining, and entertainment options. The public schools are all part of the West Linn-Wilsonville school district.
