Neighbors Southwest is a large neighborhood of condos or townhouses located in the 97008 zip code area of Beaverton, Oregon. It is situated off of Southwest Teal Boulevard, to the north of Southwest Schools Ferry Road and to the west of Southwest Murray Boulevard.
Conveniently located, Neighbors Southwest is close to Washington Square, hospitals and medical centers, and the Murrayhill Market Place, which hosts a Safeway and Starbucks. The Tri Met and Max bus lines are only a few minutes away. With easy access to Highway 217, Highway 26 and Interstate 5, residents can enjoy shopping and dining in a variety of places. Five churches lie to the east and north, and four coffee shops are convenient to the area.
Children can attend the Nancy Ryles Elementary School, Conestoga Middle School and Southridge High School. Among approximately 106 schools of higher learning in nearby Portland are Portland Community College and Portland State University.
Beaverton is home to 200 parks, including 25 miles of bike paths and more than 30 miles of hiking trails. Within these parks are eight swimming pools, two historic sites, a skate park, a roller hockey park, a sports complex, three recreation centers, a tennis center and two lakes.
